ARC Metric Quick Adjustment
Guide
Use the approved metric procedure to select, set and verify the correct ARC fibre gap and shaft-size adjustment.
Metric Adjustment Requirements
- 1 mm target gap.
- 0.5–1 mm tolerance explanation.
- Add 2 mm to the shaft diameter for chart selection.
- Select the correct ARC chart and setting line.
- Align fibre holders and verify the setting using a vernier.
- Confirm a 0.7–1.3 mm acceptable gap with a feeler gauge.
